North Korea’s neophyte leader Kim Jong-un fiddles around with his latest new toy in this cartoon by Manny Francisco of The Philippines. He’s commenting on North Korea’s plan to launch a satellite some time between April 12th and April 16th. Pyong Yang says the launch is to mark the centenary of North Korea’s founder Kim Il-sung and that it’s designed to gather information about the country’s crop output, study weather forecasts, and conduct a survey of natural resources. We’ll see.
