Sandy causes flooding in New York City subways
New York Times: Subway tunnels in New York City are flooding Monday night after floodwaters from the 13-foot-plus Battery Park City storm surge rushed into the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel. Officials are estimating that pumping water out of the tunnels could take anywhere between 14 hours to 4 days.
